What a wild night it’s been! I thought this New Year’s Eve party at Jake’s would just be another chance to drink too much and stumble into the New Year, but it turned out to be something else entirely.
After a few rounds of drinks and some ridiculous games, Jake came up with this crazy idea: Dress up as a New Year’s Baby! I laughed it off at first. Who would want to crawl around in a diaper with a baby bottle? But peer pressure and the spirit of the night kicked in. Before I knew it, I was in the corner, stripping off my shirt, the chill of the night meeting the warmth of the room.

That’s when I caught Rex’s eye. He was perched on the couch, a grin dancing on his lips as he watched me. I couldn’t help but smirk back. My tattoos sprawled across my chest and arms suddenly feeling like a badge of honor, not a silly disguise. I could feel the heat radiating from the two of us, and my heart raced. It’s funny how a night dedicated to absurdity could turn into this moment of unspoken connection.
As I reached for the baby bottle, Rex leaned in closer, teasingly asking if I needed help with my “diaper change.” His playful tone sent a shiver down my spine, and suddenly, this goofy game felt like it had a deeper layer. Was it the booze or was my gaydar really buzzing?
Whatever it was, I realized that this New Year’s Eve might just end with a kiss instead of a countdown. Bring on 2025 !
