Beefcake

Gay Beefcake:

Gay Beefcake has so many meanings to each community member. Although we recognize diversity of the LGBTQ members globally we have to restrict our content to male for males. Not be dismissive of others but we can’t show everything. It would be nice but it would take way too much time.

The phrase beefcake gets tossed around in the Male Queer world because of its history. Start with the 1998 film by the same name and that will get you started. In that film we are shown muscled men of the 1950’s era that became homoerotic.

Tame by today standards but beefcake photography would be seen as scandalous back in the day. More recently pin up photos were of males as well as females. Photos were put under the bed and not in the locker !

Now with an online account any one can be a beefcake model. Here we should some of fave models from yesterday and today. Fitness models are now marketing themselves through social media. They no longer need a manager. They can do it all. Looks and brains are a powerful combination.

Recognizing that beefcake was a term mostly used to describe males that we were white – we try and show off models of different backgrounds. Not just the blonde hair and blue eye hunks that were adored by generations past.

One thing that beefcake male models do have in common is a muscled body with a stereotypical face. We are only showing content that everyone can view and are not showing anything risque. Enjoy !
