The warm, scented water of the resort bathtub lapped gently against Karl’s chest, a perfect remedy for the travel fatigue that had clung to his muscles. Floating lazily around him were vibrant hibiscus petals and a bright yellow rubber duck, a playful contrast to the sheer luxury of the suite. Beyond the expansive floor-to-ceiling glass, a breathtaking tropical sunset painted the sky in shades of bruised purple and fierce tangerine, casting a golden glow over the palm-fringed beach and the calm ocean waters.
